Am Samstag bestritt der SV sein 1. Vorbereitungsspiel beim SV Hüsten 09 und erreichte ein leistungsgerechtes 1:1 Unentschieden. Nach 0:1 Pausenrückstand erzielte Jörg Maas den verdienten Ausgleich beim Spitzenteam der Kreisliga A.
